NIS America has announced that Atelier Totori, the latest game in Gust’s long-running alchemy RPG series, will be released on the PS3 in the USA this fall under the title Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland.

Released in June 2010 in Japan to critical and commercial success, Atelier Totori is a direct sequel to Atelier Rorona, which was released last September in the USA. The lead character, Totori, is an apprentice alchemist to the previous game’s titular heroine, and is traveling the world in search of her family. As with other Atelier games, the game will be a mix of traditional RPG adventuring with a complex alchemy system where the reagents you find affect the quality of the items you produce.

At this time, NIS America has not provided a firm release date for Atelier Totori or details on special editions, which are a staple for the company’s games.
