After being put in to a “development purgatory” last year when the movie’s previous director, Seth Gordan(Horrible Bosses), and writer Mark Boal(The Hurt Locker) left. Now Sony has found a new writer for the Uncharted movie, Joe Carnahan, who is also directing the new Bad Boys 3 movie. Coincidentally Carnahan is unable to direct to the new uncharted movie because Bad Boys 3 and Uncharted have conflicting schedules. “In a perfect world I would love to do both, but right now, I’m only on board to write the script,” he told Variety.
