To celebrate Black Desert Online’s first anniversary, Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games announced that a highly limited edition blended whiskey will be made available.
Named after the Black Spirit, Black Desert Online‘s primary mascot and antagonist, the whiskey is an exquisite masterpiece. It is a blend made from some of Scotland’s rarest and most exceptional whiskies. The Black Spirit has been aged in special black wooden casks of which only a few hundred remain at select distilleries. With elusive quality, character, and flavor, this whiskey delivers a once-in-a-lifetime signature taste that will release your inner Black Spirit.
Black Spirit is incomparably rich and smoky, with velvety smooth breaking waves of powerful flavor. Hazelnuts, honey, sherry, and oranges tumble in first, before releasing hidden secrets like ginger, kumquats, sandalwood, and dark chocolate. A rich honey sweetness emerges, accompanied by hints of pepper and dried fruits.
Black Spirit will be available in very limited quantities from the official Black Desert Online website later this week.
This is quite the interesting promotional tie-in. I have to wonder how many people who play the game will be interested in this. It does sound unique.
