CD Projekt Red has sent out a notice today that they are looking for players to help put GWENT servers through a technical stress test on two different days very soon. Titled Kill the Servers!, the purpose of the test is to stress GWENT’s hosting backend and makes sure the servers hold up with players actually on them.

GWENT is a a standalone game of the card game within The Witcher for the PC and Xbox One. Players can pick what faction they wan to play: the Scoia’tael, Monsters, Northern Realms or Skellige. Other factions will be added in the near future. Play matches against friends or a try and compete against the best in the world in ranked battles.

The first stress test will begin this Friday, 09/23 from 5pm to 9pm CEST and then again the next Tuesday 09/27 from 8pm to 12am CEST. This is only for the PC version and players must first be registered for the Beta testing that will begin October 25. After registering, those seeking a code will need to follow on Facebook or Twitter for more information about code availability. Those who might be able to gain access to the stress test does NOT guarantee a spot in GWENT’s Beta test.
