Maximum Games announced today that a free multiplayer Open Beta for Dead Alliance will begin on Thursday, July 27 and end on Monday, July 3 for all platforms.

Players will face their opponents will turning zombies in to allies on three multiplayer maps, “an assortment of game modes” which includes Capture and Hold, King of the Hill, Solo Survival, and Team Deathmatch. The development team will announce at a later date as to which modes will be available.

The team-based shooter Dead Alliance, in development by Psyop Games and IllFonic, is scheduled to be released August 29th on the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are being sold and purchasers will receive the Rapid Dominance Day One Edition which includes perks for the multiplayer and three bonus load-outs and unique weapons.
