Kalypso Media has released a new trailer along with the announcement of Tropico 6 today. El Presidente will make a return in the game, as players will once again prove how good or bad a leader of the country they are.

New features in the game will include playing on a map of islands, which is a first for the franchise. Several islands can be run at the same time, while connecting them with new transportation and infrastructure options. Raid foreign lands to steal monuments such as the Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower to bring back to the kingdom. The research system has been adjusted to focus more on the political aspect, while promising the people anything they want to hear with the election speeches being brought back.

Tropico 6 is slated for a worldwide release in 2018 for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Playstation 4, and the Xbox One. Check out the extended announcement trailer Kalypso Media just released.
