Frontier Development along with Sony announced  that Elite Dangerous will finally be making an appearance on the console on June 27th, 2017.

Elite Dangerous was first released for the PC in 2014 and almost a year later on the Xbox One.

The MMO space exploration game will be sold digitally and a physical unit. Digital pre-orders for the MMO space exploration game are now being accepted in the United Kingdom and will begin in the US on May 30.

If a physical copy is to be preferred, Elite Dangerous: Legendary Edition will be available at retailers. The Legendary Edition is set to be released for both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles, which will include the original game, the Elite Dangerous: Horizons season pass, along with 1,000 Frontier Points which can be used to purchase in-game items.
