It seems the first round of DLC for Final Fantasy XV will be quite interesting. Not only will it be more action oriented but it will feature the return of Gilgamesh.
Coming from RPG Site

“The player confronts an enemy called Gilgamesh, who can only be seen in Episode Gladio.” For those that have played the main game, there’s a key moment this content seems to fit into. At one point during the course of the story Gladiolus drops from your party to take care of business on his own, returning more battle damaged than before. It’s very convenient.

Gilgamesh has been all over the series and is something of a fan favorite. He first appeared in FF5, but has also shown up in the likes of FF12, FF13-2, FF14 and even the Game Boy Advance remakes of FF4 and FF6.

The book also notes that DLC will also feature new areas beyond what we’ve seen with FF15’s open world section of Lucis. In Episode Gladio, for example, you’ll be able to go into areas that can’t be entered in the main game. Sawatari stresses the content currently in development is meant to “bring the FF15 world closer to the player, in greater depth” and will “truly blow your mind.”

This is quite the interesting development and choice for the game. I need to see more of this before I decide if it is a good thing or not, but what do you all think?
