4Gamers did an interview with various developers in Japan over their plans for 2017. One name that popped up was Kyuta Yamada of Arc System Works who had an interesting response that can be seen below.

“Next, I want to make a game that can be introduced in a Nintendo Direct. I will do my best.”
That is a strong goal to have and I hope for success for the director. To be featured in a Nintendo Direct would be a big achievement.
