Capcom released a standalone playable story demo for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite today, along with revealing four new characters for both the Marvel and Capcom forces.

The Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite demo gives a sneak peak to the story mode, the first time for the popular action-fighting franchise. Players will find themselves at the center of a battle with characters on both sides working together to stop Ultron Sigma.

The heroes revealed today were: Thanos. Gamora, Nova and Doctor Strange from Marvel and Dante, Zero, Spencer and Arthur of the Capcom Universe.

Franchise newcomer Gamora along with all the characters will each have their own unique abilities and special moves to help defeat the supervillian. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will also feature locations merged together from both universes. “Knowmoon,” a combination of the outpost Knowhere from the Marvel Universe and Third Moon from the Strider series, “Xgard,” a mixture of Thor’s homeland Asgard and Abel City from the Mega Man X series, were two of the many more locations that were released today.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released in North America and Europe on September 19, 2017 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Window PC systems.
