Nintendo has gotten a lot of good news when it comes to the Switch and now there is even more. We now we have word on the European market as a whole for the Switch launch and the data tells a good story.
Nintendo sent out an official notice about Switch’s sales in Europe, in which they stated that during the system’s launch weekend, it sold more than any other Nintendo hardware in history, and this is including the Wii. They also noted just how well The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild performed. According to Nintendo, it is the biggest-selling Nintendo launch title ever in Europe, and has even outsold Wii Sports in first weekend sales.
