Here is some downright bizarre news. It seems Nintendo’s game 1-2-Switch has gained the ire of PETA over the cow milking game.
The group believes that 1-2-Switch isn’t being realistic in how it portrays cow milking, declaring that it is “far from reality” as the real act can be violent. PETA thinks Nintendo should make the experience more authentic and has asked for certain sounds and other objects to be added in. They further state that if this isn’t possible, they suggest that Nintendo should “switch to simulating activities in which no animals suffer.” This includes an almond milking mini game. Considering the absurdity of PETA’s statements, their poor history with Nintendo with regard’s to Pokémon and Mario, and the nature of this game, I think it is safe to say Nintendo will be ignoring them.
