Nintendo has done very well so far with the Switch it seems. Research group SuperData has crunched the numbers and determined that Nintendo has already sold 1.5 million Switch systems worldwide.

SuperData research stated that Switch sold 500,000 systems  in the US,  with 360,000 sold in Japan, and Europe “not far behind”. What is important to note, is that most of these numbers are from first week sales, and since the Switch has continued selling whenever and wherever units are available, the sales are likely higher by now. It seems Nintendo’s goal of selling 2 million units in March is now very likely to happen..

When it comes to games, the best-selling Switch title so far is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which makes perfect sense.. SuperData has stated that by their estimate, 89% of Switch owners also bought Zelda , which would put the game at around 1.34 million copies sold. However, the number is likely even higher by now since those numbers are also based on week 1 sales.
