Here is some awesome news. Splatoon 2 has sold over 671K physical copies in Japan in its first 3 days. This far outpaces the sales of Zelda on Switch and shows that Splatoon 2 will be a major player in terms of system sales for the Switch.
In addition, 102K Switch systems were sold in Japan in the 3 days.
For comparison. The original Splatoon’s Japanese debut sales were 156,610 physical copies on Wii U.
