Star Trek Online has been available on the PC for six years, now current and new players can play the game on either the Playstation 4 or Xbox One as of today.

Steve Ricossa, the Executive Producer of Star Trek revealead everything in a post on the Perfect World’s website, the publisher of the game. The console version will have all six years of content from the PC version which is over 125 episodes The game has more than over 15 actors that voice characters from every Star Trek era.

The game’s lighting engine was upgraded and the UI was also completely redone when the game was ported from the PC version to the consoles.

Star Trek Online is a free-to-play MMO and all future content updates will remain free. Check out the new trailer released with the console announcement.
