An interesting announcement was made regarding season 2 of Street Fighter V at the Capcom Cup. Akuma will be the only returning character in Season 2 of Street Fighter V from previous Street Fighter games. The rest of the characters will be completely original to Street Fighter. This could mean they are from other Capcom games such as characters from Rival Schools or maybe Mike Haggar or another possibility is that they are completely original.
