Batman: Arkham City, one of the best games to come out in 2011 and arguably the best super hero game to date, is about to release it’s first and perhaps only story based DLC in HArley Quinn’s Revenge. Picking up a few weeks after the the events of Arkham City, Batman sets out to find a few cops who disappeared into Joker’s old hide out. He soon discovers that it’s a trap and is shot by Quinn. Enter Robin, yes that’s right. Not just fighting in arenas but you actually get to explore as Robin while you try to find out what happened to Batman. Now don’t think you can travel all of the city as Robin, you will be confined to the Jokers hide out, but it’s still a welcome addition. Check out the trailer and get a sense for what this DLC has in store for us. Harley Quinn’s Revenge will release for download on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on May 29 for $9.99. It will also be included in the Game of the Year edition, along with the Catwoman, Night Wing, Robin, and character skin DLC.
Warner Bros. has officially announced the upcoming Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition and confirmed the arrival of Harley Quinn DLC.
Arkham City GOTY Edition
The GOTY edition will be available in the U.S. on May 29th and will include all five of the DLC packs, including:
The Arkham City skins add-on
The North American version of the bundle will also have a download code for the animated movie Batman: Year One and Harley Quinn’s Revenge, the upcoming DLC.
Harley Quinn’s Revenge
Harley Quinn’s Revenge will be released for players who already have Arkham City on May 29th and includes two hours of gameplay. Prices are $9.99 on PlayStation Network or 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
Players will switch between Batman and Robin to expose Harley’s plan while they interact with new environments and enemies.
I’m always excited to get more Harley in my life, so I am definitely considering getting the Game Of The Year edition. What do you all think about releasing GOTY editions with all DLC included? Do you think it is unfair to early buyers?

Its time to review probably ONE OF THE BEST SUPER HERO VIDEO GAMES EVER CREATED. Three words…… Batman Arkham City. Its no secret that this game is EPIC. But how much EPICness does Batman bring to the table? Is it a last hurrah, or the gateway to something more? With a lot of new games coming out this month and this season, we can expect a lot of gaming to take place. Dead Island has been released. So if you have a hankering for butchering zombies and eradicating the undead, this game is exactly what you want. This Tuesday is Gears of War 3 – the final game in the trilogy. I’m quite amped to see how the games ends and have many questions answered. September seems to gearing up as a month for blood and brutality. For all my RPG brethren, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Star Wars: The Old Republic will whet your appetite.
Battlefield 3 is one the top most anticipated games until Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes out and we’ll be seeing HD releases of Ico/Shadow of Colossus and Silent Hill games. Capcom is releasing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to make up for their vanilla release. This time we’ll have more characters but still no Mega Man. Personally, that makes me a bit sad, but with Sonic Generations filling my nostalgia gap, I guess I can chill out until then. Last but not least, we’ve got Batman: Arkham City, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. So many games, so little times.
What games are you stoked to see for the fall season?
