WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have released a new Injustice 2 trailer. This one shows off villains Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Bane and Scarecrow. Bane has gotten a redesign and Scarecrow legitimately looks like one of the best designed NetherRealm studios has ever come up with, and will no doubt be a popular pick for the game.

Injustice 2 is looking amazing and should be a blast to play. We will have a review up as soon as we can,

In Prey you’ll need more than just your wits to take on the Typhon aliens that are threatening to destroy mankind. But why stop with the weapons and gadgets you’ll find aboard Talos I? Mankind’s last – and only – hope, Morgan Yu, also has the option of “installing” a wide range of human and alien abilities. Get a look at some of the powers you can use against the deadly Typhon – along with exclusive insights from the team at Arkane Studios in our latest video titled ‘Playing with Powers’

Whether you focus on just human powers – allowing you to run faster, jump higher, use firearms better and more – or if you instead branch off into the myriad Typhon abilities, one thing’s certain: Prey offers players a wide range of ways to annihilate aliens. From Superthermal to Psychoshock and beyond, these powers will make all the difference in your mission to fight the aliens and save the world.

Be on the lookout tomorrow for a new video featuring fresh insight into Prey’s mind-altering Neruomod Division, and for more examples of how you can combine weapons and powers, be sure to check out yesterday’s ‘Power Combos’ video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Aro7eB53q8.

Set to launch worldwide on Friday, May 5, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, Prey is the highly-anticipated first-person sci-fi action game from Arkane Studios – creators of the award-winning Dishonored series which includes the 2012 ‘Game of the Year’ and the critically-acclaimed follow-up, Dishonored 2.

Prey has been rated M for mature by the ESRB. For more information about the game please visit prey.bethesda.net.

Prey just keeps looking amazing. This might just be the most innovative FPS in a long time. We hope to have a review around launch time.

You might be mankind’s last hope aboard Talos I, but you’ve got a mighty arsenal to face down the Typhon threat. Armed with your wits, weapons and a host of incredible powers, it’s up to you to stop the alien invasion and save all of humanity. Piece of cake. With 24 human upgrades and 20 unique alien powers to choose from (plus all of their upgrades), no two Morgans will be the same, and no two players will have the same experiences in Prey.  Along with the human abilities like Hacking, Leverage, Repair, and Gunsmith – all of which enhance Morgan’s innate strengths – you will have access to three distinct trees of Typhon-based abilities. Of course, there’s some risk when rewarding yourself with these amazing alien abilities. As you install alien powers, the turrets on the station will view you as a hostile entity, and you will increasingly run the risk of being targeted and hunted by the massive Nightmare Typhon. But with (sometimes literally) mind-bending abilities like these, we’ve got to say the risk is definitely worth it. Check out the full list of alien powers at Bethesda.net and start thinking about who your Morgan will be, and how you plan to fight the invasion and save the world.

Be sure to look out tomorrow for a new video diving into Morgan’s armory as the development team discuss ‘Playing with Powers’, while Thursday will reveal fresh insight into Prey’s mind-altering Neruomod Division.

No GravatarBungie and Activision have released a teaser for Destiny 2. This is in advance of the full trailer which will drop on March 30th at 10 am PT

While we don’t have much to go on from this trailer, it is clear that the game has much more of an identity than the 1st Destiny did, which is a major improvement. Here is hoping that this is a much more successful sequel!

No GravatarVideo game peripheral maker Mad Catz has a bad run financially lately, and it is about to be a lot worse. The company is due to bet removed from trading  on the new York Stock Exchange due to “abnormally low” stock value. Mad catz has said theyt will not appeal the process, which will lead to severe financial hardship for them.

It is not the end however, for Mad Catz a publicly-traded company. After it will be delisted from the NYSE Mad Catz stock will then be traded on the “OTC Pink” U.S. financial market for so-called “over-the-counter” securities.

Bigben and Games Workshop are happy to announce their partnership for the development of a console and PC game based on the renowned Warhammer Fantasy Battles IP.

This adaptation of the franchise will be the first Hack and Slash game to unfold in the Warhammer world. The game takes place in the Old World, a dark and bloody continent devastated by the wars against Chaos. Dive into the heart of the Warhammer story, become a hero and battle to survive the desolation.

The French studio Eko Software, known for attracting millions of survivors in the How to Survive series, was entrusted with the new Warhammer Fantasy Battles adaptation.

“We are very pleased to work with Games Workshop developing a game which draws from the incredible potential of the Warhammer world. The Eko Software and Bigben teams have long been fans of this franchise from day one, including myself. Warhammer Fantasy Battles is well suited to offer players something quite innovative in the timeless hack & slash genre.” affirmed Benoit Clerc, Director of Video Games at Bigben.

“We’re really pleased to start this new partnership with Bigben, and this project will be an amazing opportunity for gamers to experience an epic story in the first Hack N’ Slash game set in the classic Warhammer Fantasy world. Eko did a great job with their How To Survive series and we’re confident they are going to do something amazing with our IP. I know the Bigben and Eko staff are massive fans of our lore and I can’t wait to see what they come up with.” declared Jon Gillard, Head of Licensing at Games Workshop.

Additional information on the story, key realms and geography, the platforms and playable races will be unveiled shortly.

I would say this sounds interesting, but there really isn’t much to go on other than that this will be a Hack and Slash game set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. Hopefully it is a good experience.
