Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, the mega-hit synchronous mobile fighting game, is initiating one of its most highly-anticipated game updates to-date with fan-favorite Megazords entering the arena for the first time. Starting today with the massive content update, players can play as these massive Megazords, pitting them against villains and other Megazords in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars which has been downloaded more than 23 million times since its launch and has more than 230 million matches played.

“Since Legacy Wars’ inception, nWay, Saban Brands and Lionsgate always envisioned making a game that would capture the team aspect of Power Rangers and showcase that #TogetherWeAreMore,” said Taehoon Kim, CEO, nWay. “The Megazord is the ultimate symbol of that sentiment and bringing Megazords to our game is a true realization of that vision.”

The Megazord update to Power Rangers: Legacy Wars also introduces an alliance-focused game mode featuring epic, real-time battles between the Megazords and mega-sized villains from the franchise’s 24-year history. Players will work with their alliance to complete sets of challenges entitled “Alliance Missions,” which can be completed faster by coordinating with active members. By finishing missions, players will be rewarded with Zords and collecting enough of these will unlock a battle-ready mighty Megazord to use against other alliances. Each Megazord can be fully customized before a battle by equipping two “Mega” attacks – special moves to be activated after filling a meter.

Beginning with this update, Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will also feature periodic “Megazord Alliance Wars” in which players compete against other alliances to climb a leaderboard that doles out rewards based on position – the higher a player ranks, the greater rewards received.

In collaboration with Saban Brands and Lionsgate, the development team at nWay have mixed their deep passion for Power Rangers to bring the fan-favorite Megazords to Power Rangers: Legacy Wars.

After Flower launched, we certainly could see its influence to break new boundaries and perceptions of how video games could be designed and played. Or how it could transcend and connect families and friends across ages, cultures and backgrounds.  That was certainly our hope – to bring it to as many people as possible, so that audiences around the world could see how games could be relevant to them.   At the time, we could see that gamers and non-gamers were indeed yearning for new kinds of interactive entertainment experiences.

So today, in a first-of-its-kind partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Annapurna Interactive, we are excited to announce that Flower is available to play on iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded from the App Store starting today. This is a special release for Flower because for the first time, more and more audiences can get to experience the calmness, poetic beauty and romanticism of game!  Our existing community can buy, share or gift the game to others to explore.  Casual players – older or younger family members and loved ones – can try it, complete it and maybe understand that games can encourage positivity.

This is amazing news, as the game is a perfect fit for mobile. Will you be checking this out?

Here is some strange news.

Nintendo seems to have removed Super Mario Run from the iOS App Store.

Below is a picture of the apps Nintendo has on iOS. Super Mario Run is missing from that list.

We have no reason given for this yet, and Nintendo has yet to make a statement. Could something have happened? Or is this a mistake?

UK-based indie development duo Bae Team haverevealed they will bring Purrfect Date to Windows PC, Mac and iOS this winter with the publishing support of the award-winning Bossa Studios (Surgeon Simulator, I am Bread). Purrfect Date is a cross between a visual novel, dating sim and dark British comedy. You, a human, will get to date cats and uncover the secrets of the mysterious Cat Island.

Throughout the game’s seven chapters, you’ll adopt the roles of multiple freshly employed research assistants on an island almost entirely populated by cats. Choose your own adventure as you romance talking cats, balance your stats and carry out your research into the dark and questionable history of the island. Drawing inspiration from trailblazing games such as Undertale, Dream Daddy, Hatoful Boyfriend, and Pony Island, there’ll be lots of twists, turns and alternate playthroughs to keep you replaying.

Purrfect Date is the personal project of Bossa Studios’ content producer, Oliver Hindle, and his girlfriend, Ruby-Mae Roberts.

“Oliver and I were lazing around one day, itching to play a game, but nothing really grabbed our interest, so we started talking about what we’d do if we could make the ideal game for us. Cats, intrigue, dating sims, the TV show Lost… all of these things became the ingredients that went into making Purrfect Date. It’s an amalgamation of everything we love, and in essence, a love letter to each other (and cats),” said Ruby-Mae Roberts, Co-founder of Bae Team.

After finding success on Steam Greenlight, a true mark of quality and excellence, they entered into a publishing and co-development deal with Bossa Studios.

“We love to create games in ways that other developers, studios and publishers would shy away from. At Bossa, we embrace crazy ideas from the team, and when Oliver said he was working on a dating simulator about cats, we knew it was something we would support,” said Imre Jele, Co-founder of Bossa Studios.

The game can now be added to players’ wishlists on Steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/520600/Purrfect_Date.

For more information, follow the game on YouTube, Twitter,  Facebook and Instagram.

This is an interesting game. There is no doubt that many will be interested in this.
