Blizzard sent out the following

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re celebrating with lots of wintry events in Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. Whether you’re looking for a new Brawl experience in Overwatch or you just want to kick back and enjoy Winter’s Veil, we’ve got you covered.

OVERWATCH WINTER WONDERLAND

December 12 January 1

In Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2017, group up with friends new and old and see if you can hunt down the Yeti—and do it in style with the newest seasonal cosmetic additions.

New Brawl: Yeti Hunt

This season’s Brawl is a 5v1 experience, pitting five Mei “Hunters” against one “Yeti” Winston. The Yeti must kill the Hunters five times to win; the Hunters must kill the Yeti once to claim victory. The Brawl takes place on a reskinned Nepal Village map—the perfectly snowy setting for a Yeti battle.

Yeti Winston has increased health and armor, making him a formidable foe. Meat packs are sprinkled around the map for him, which will fuel his ultimate. Mei has her usual abilities, but her Ice Wall and Ice Block times are reduced…and while she can freeze Yeti Winston, there’s one catch—she can only freeze him in Rage mode.

We’re also bringing last year’s Winter Wonderland brawl back for an encore: Mei’s Snowball Offensive!

Winter Wonderland Goodies

The Winter Wonderland collection features more than 140 items, including new skins like Ice Fisherman Roadhog and Avalanche Bastion.

To make your favorite Winter Wonderland cosmetics even easier to collect, we’ve lowered the cost of last year’s goodies; Legendary skins from 2016 are 1000 credits, while Epic, Rare, and Common prices have been lowered to 250, 75, and 25 credits, respectively. Winter Wonderland 2017 Legendary Skins are 3000 credits, while Epic, Rare, and Common Skins are 750, 225, and 75 credits, respectively. Alongside previous changes to goodies and cosmetics, that means it’ll be easier to nab your favorite 2016 and 2017 winter looks.

HEROES OF THE STORM WINTER VEIL

December 12 January 9

Bundle up and leap into the Nexus for a special Winter Veil quest chain, with special rewards for playing games during the event, from a Winter Veil 2017 Spray after 2 games to a Winter Veil 2017 Mount when you play 5 games!

Outside the game, you can purchase or gift the Winter Loot Chest through the Blizzard Shop. With new skins including Greatfather Winter Malfurion, Winter’s Helper Valla, and Season’s Reapings Malthael and a new Gingerbread mount, you and your friends will be warm for all of Winter Veil.

The new Foundation Bundle will also be available starting December 12, and includes 8 Heroes (E.T.C., Leoric, Greymane, Kerrigan, Li-Ming, Uther, Lúcio, and Zagara) for $20.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT FEAST OF WINTER VEIL

December 16 January 2

Visit the major cities of Azeroth and join in the Winter Veil seasonal celebrations! With holiday décor sprinkled across the world, it’ll be a festive experience. Check out the Giant Snow Globes in Ironforge, Ogrimmar, and Dalaran.

You can also search for the Abominable Greench in the Hillsbrad Foothills or grab a shiny new red or green Finely Tailored Holiday Hat in several Legion dungeons and raids including the Seat of the Triumvirate and Antorus, the Burning Throne.

HEARTHSTONE WINTER’S VEIL

December 17 December 30

Jump into the season with Winter’s Veil–themed boards for Orgrimmar and Stormwind, along with special seasonal emotes to spread some cheer to your opponents.

From December 20 – 24, stop by the Tavern for a new Brawl: Wacky Waxy Winter’s Veil. Win up to three snowy Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs as you play through this chilly Brawl.

Blizzard is going all out with their games for the holidays. What are you looking forward to the most from these? Let us know!

Konami has announced that there will be a Beta for their upcoming game Metal gear Survive. it will run through January 18th to the 21st.

Metal Gear Survive has been a controversial title since its reveal, but it is possible that the game may turn out alright. This is especially the case after Super Bomberman R’s success, so perhaps we should hold our judgement until the beta at the very least.

“Hello and welcome back to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center.”

We welcome all lucky applicants to Bridge Constructor Portal with our new vehicle-based test chambers, Quantum Tunnels and patented Aperture technology!

For the last year we’ve been secretly working in our underground labs on the next iteration of the million-selling Bridge Constructor series. This new stand-alone title will release on PC, MacOS, Linux, mobile devices, and console, and fully embraces the Portal license, one of the most beloved video game franchises of the last decade.

Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.

Bridge Constructor Portal will be released on December 20 2017 for Windows, MacOS and Linux as well as for mobile devices. The console versions will follow in early 2018.

“If you’ve been paying attention the solution should be obvious. As the case may be… good luck!”

This was certainly unexpected. A crossover between Bridge Constructor and Portal was not one of the games we would have seen coming. Still, there is a lot of potential here.
