Pilots on the Frontier frequently use simulator pods to train, using life-like recreations of historical battles as combat scenarios. The all new War Games map highlights the civilian shops, tall buildings for window-to-window fighting, and city streets for Titan combat from the Battle of Angel City, and the large, open tank garage facilities for hand-to-hand Pilot combat from the Battle of Airbase Sierra.

Starting on June 27 the 6th DLC drop for Titanfall 2 called The War Games will be available for free on all platforms on June 27th.

In addition to the War Games map, players will also be able to jump into a new Live Fire Map, Traffic, a weathered test site where pilot positioning is pitted against mobility across two busy thoroughfares. Also included in the DLC will be a new Shadow Boxing [Holo Pilot] execution and a 3rd weapon slot for Pilots. Paradox Interactive, a publisher of best-selling games across many genres and platforms, today announced that Pillars of Eternity, the critically acclaimed role-playing game (RPG) from Obsidian Entertainment, and Cities: Skylines, the smash-hit city-building game from Colossal Order, will both be released for new console platforms later this year. Both award-winning titles have been redesigned for console players with controller-friendly gameplay and UI, and will be available in August for their respective platforms.

Pillars of Eternity, originally the result of a crowdfunding campaign by over 75,000 backers, first released for PC platforms to broad critical acclaim, winning several awards for its rich story and deep, original world. Now, the original game, alongside the expansions The White March – Parts I & II, will be released as Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One consoles on August 29, 2017.

Cities: Skylines, the best-selling management game that set sales records at Paradox at launch, will soon be available for the PS4 as Cities: Skylines – PlayStation®4 Edition. The deep gameplay and unique charm have all been refined and optimized for play on a controller, and the new Edition will include the award-winning base game, bundled together with the popular After Dark expansion, allowing players to plan and design for their cities’ nightlife and tourist attractions. Cities: Skylines – PlayStation®4 Edition will launch on August 15, 2017.

“Paradox is renewing its commitment to fans everywhere, no matter where and how they play games,” said Johan Sjöberg, CPO of Paradox Interactive. “Experiences like the ones contained in Pillars of Eternity and Cities: Skylines are the kind that define Paradox as a company: rich, replayable, and very personal. No two players will have the same journey through the story of Pillars, and every city built in Skylines is a unique creation. Everybody should have access to these iconic games, and that’s why we’re working with partners to share them with players on their platforms of choice. It’s the same philosophy that’s driven us to bring titles like these and Surviving Mars to consoles, and games like Prison Architect to mobile devices.”

Pillars of Eternity is an RPG inspired by classic titles such as Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment, which features an original world and game system that evokes and improves upon the traditional computer RPG experience. The Complete Edition, adapted for consoles by Paradox Arctic and distributed at physical retail by 505 Games, features an enhanced UI and redesigned controls to provide a superb experience on the big screen, navigated easily and intuitively using game controllers.

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition features:

  • Award-winning writing, story and artwork of Pillars of Eternity, along with the expanded world and content of The White March: Parts I & II
  • Countless character creation options, from races and classes to character backgrounds which drive your personal story
  • An epic universe to explore, filled with intriguing party members and companions, a variety of in-game factions, and a lovingly rendered world to traverse
  • New UI and controls designed from the ground up, presenting the Pillars of Eternity experience like never before

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new mechanics to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city, and allows for high levels of customization and personalization. The PlayStation®4 Edition has been adapted for console play by Tantalus Media and will be distributed worldwide at physical retail by Koch Media.

Cities: Skylines – PlayStation®4 Edition features:

  • Build the city of your dreams: Plan road networks, bus lines and parks. Bring education, healthcare and safety to your citizens. Build it your way!

  • Extensive local traffic simulation: Managing traffic and the needs of your citizens to work and play will require the use of several interactive transport systems – use careful road planning alongside buses, trains, subways, and much more.

  • Districts and policies: Ban heavy traffic in your downtown area, assign free public transport to your waterfront, or ban pets in suburbia. Designate parts of your city as a district in order to set policy at the local level, and give different parts of town their own personalities.

  • After Dark included: Watch your city become an entirely different place at night: a day-night cycle will have your citizens seeking out places to unwind after work. Add in new policies and zones to create popular hotspots and provide enough taxis and trains to get to and from the clubs!

This is amazing news as these games are awesome. It is especially great to see an amazing RPG like Pillars of Eternity get a console port. If you have not played either of these amazing games yet, now is your chance. These games are greatly recommended, and are of the highest quality

You can see trailers below

Paradox Interactive deserves much praise for bringing these games to consoles, as this required a lot of work. Hopefully their investment pays off.

BE LIKE NO ONE: 2K Announces Seth Rollins™ as the WWE® 2K18 Cover Superstar

New Early Access initiative invites players to purchase the WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition or WWE 2K18 Collector’s Edition and receive the game before its worldwide release date

New York, NY – June 19, 2017 – Be like no one.

These four simple words likely generate several reactions, but for WWE Superstar Seth Rollins™, they are a master class in describing his unmatched work ethic, disruptive mindset and definitive WWE career.

Since joining WWE in 2010, Rollins has done things on his own terms. Like many claim but never accomplish, he was destined to be different, blaze his own trail and take no prisoners along the way, even if it meant disrespecting history. The first move on Rollins’ chess board: become the inaugural NXT® Champion in 2012 and put everyone on high alert. The second move: make his WWE main roster debut at Survivor Series® later that year, align with WWE Superstars Roman Reigns™ and Dean Ambrose™ to form The Shield™ and rally against authority. As the pieces continued moving, the accolades followed: two-time WWE Champion, United States Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and “Mr. Money in the Bank®,” to name a few. And now, “The Kingslayer” stands tall after a definitive checkmate: defeating Triple H® on WWE’s grandest stage at WrestleMania® 33.

For every calculated action and result, there is no question Rollins will prevail by any means necessary, and in doing so, embody everything it means to be like no one.

In celebration of his in-ring accomplishments and bold individuality, 2K today announced Seth Rollins as the cover Superstar for WWE® 2K18, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise. In addition, Rollins will personify WWE 2K18’s worldwide marketing campaign – BE LIKE NO ONE – which invites players to explore Rollins’ identity, as well as those of several other WWE Superstars, while learning more about the game. WWE 2K18 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on October 17, 2017 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One.

“As the WWE 2K18 cover Superstar and franchise ambassador, it is my incredible honor and mission to ensure this game will truly BE LIKE NO ONE – a calling card perfect for everything I stand for – as it sets forth on its own unique path,” said Seth Rollins. “Following in the footsteps of other WWE 2K cover Superstars – Dwayne “The Rock®” Johnson, John Cena®, Stone Cold Steve Austin® and Brock Lesnar® – I now carry the torch and proudly represent a new generation of WWE Superstars. I am the future, and the future can’t be stopped.”

“Each year, the WWE 2K franchise emerges with a unique identity, impeccable authenticity, an incredible roster and the freedom for players to customize and control the virtual WWE world through its extensive offerings,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K. “In determining who truly epitomizes BE LIKE NO ONE and represents WWE 2K18 to the fullest extent, there was one obvious answer: Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.”

There has also been this trailer released for the game

This is quite the interesting trailer for the game. Seth Rollins is a great choice for the cover superstar and it is good that there is a full time member of the roster on the cover this time.

Also noteworthy is that Wrestlinginc mentions that a Nintendo Switch version has been rumored but no confirmation yet.

Here is some surprising news. Bandai Namco and Capcom have entered into a cross-licensing agreement for online matching for games like Street Fighter.

Capcom stated

The purpose of this agreement is to improve the user experience while accelerating the production of titles and reducing development costs for both parties. Further, with this cross-license for online matching, Capcom aims to effectively utilize the patents it has been granted in game series such as Street Fighter in order to deliver even more exciting content to game players.

With this agreement as a starting point, Capcom will continue to explore cross-licensing opportunities in order to safeguard its patents while improving the user experience and contributing to a healthier game industry.

This is really exciting news, as the two companies working together to use their patents to better online gaming could be a (no pun intended) game changer for the industry. This could usher in a new era for online gaming, for Street Fighter and Tekken and other such games.

Bethesda has released two trailers for The Evil Within 2, to show off the game some more.

Set in Union, a crumbling city built using Lily’s mind as the Core, The Evil Within 2 presents a mix of closed off, claustrophobic environments that are reminiscent of the first game, and new, less linear areas that will give you the opportunity to explore at your own pace. You’ll be able to wander freely and poke through all the dark corners of the world at your leisure, but this is still a survival horror game, and ammo and resources will be scarce. You’ll need to prepare carefully and move cautiously as you discover the secrets of Union and unravel Mobius’ plans from within STEM.

The Evil Within 2 releases worldwide Friday the 13th, October 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The horrifying things Sebastian experienced in the first game left him scarred, but rather than run from the source of his nightmares, Sebastian chased after them. He spent three years seeking answers to the questions that plagued him and trying to find the organization who ruined his life. Who is Mobius? What do they want? What is the true purpose of STEM?

But from this darkness comes a chance at redemption.
The Evil Within 2 releases worldwide Friday the 13th, October 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game certainly looks good, and will hopefully succeed in the area where the original fell short. That isn’t to say the original is bad, but it definitely had some shortcomings. That said, This game might just be what we are looking for.

Bethesda has released several new trailers for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The game is looking absolutely incredible and was a real standout this E3.

He’s the scourge of the Nazi regime. The one man who can send shivers down the spines of elite soldiers. Whatever the case, BJ is back to wage war against the evil Nazi regime – but in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the front lines have moved from Europe to his homeland. Nazis have taken over America, and BJ wants his country back. His goal: to rally the resistance and restore peace and freedom to his beloved nation. Xbox had a great showing at there press conference. Coming right out of the game showing the history and gaming resultions over the course of the Xbox lifeline leading up to the highest achieved so far 4k resolution. Following a great 3d animated short showcasing some of the big features of the new, now titled Xbox One X, including the reveal of it’s launch date, and new specs. All of which include immense power with the Xbox One X. Going down the specs list some of which including 12gb of GDDR5 ram,  a cpu core that clocks in at around 2.3GHz, and high speed memory bandwidth, not to mention the new and improved cooling system.

One of the things that caught my attention was there was very little talking, besides the short and breif game presentations. Even Phil Spencer himself, spent most of his time talking about the new Xbox One X which was revealed at the price of $499. Which isn’t necessarily terrible, but with a most consumers not yet owning a 4k resolution TV it will interesting to see how the console will sell at it’s release date, November 7th of this year. Even while admits the numerous indie titles, most of which are still in development. At least one I myself(and most) were excited about, was the final release date of Cuphead, a sidescrolling shoot them up with the look and feel of a 1950s old timey cartoon.

While this isn’t the first press conference xbox has had without Halo,Gears of war, and other notable first party titles. They did reveal new software, like Forza with the new inclusion of the very first official real life car and brand, Porsche. One thing that drew me in was the new gameplay demo of Sea of Theives which we got a brief look at last years press conference. To round out the exclusives, Microsoft had a very welcomed reveal of Crackdown 3,with the help of mega buff super star Terry Crews. Another notable announcement was that the Xbox One systems would be backwards compatible with original Xbox games as the crowed erupted, while I wasn’t personally excited for the “Crimsion Skies” game they were showing I was pumped at the prospect of playing other fun original Xbox games.

The Xbox One X will be available on November 7th at the price of $499.
