It’s no secret that Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has turned into one of their best shows currently airing. After a monumental series premiere, Nick already green lit the show for a second season. Not too long ago, Nick announced that season three was already picked up! Great news for all turtle fans (myself included). Nickelodeon Group president Cyma Zarghami came out and said that 2012 was a hard year for Nickelodeon with a lot of competition. She also said that Nick will be reinventing themselves with a strong emphasis and animation. Many people have been complaining for years how Nick has lost its way with the lack of animation and all the teen live action shows. Looks like the internet was right and Nick wants to change that image and get back to where it once was. With Legend of Korra and TMNT leading the way, I’m very interested to see how true they stay to their claims. Only time will tell.
