A recent interview with Mitsuaki Taguchi of Bandai Namco has revealed some interesting things.
Firstly, it seems Bandai Namco didn’t think the Switch would do as well as it did and he noted that the games put on the system already have sold well.
“We have put 3 games on the Switch and all of them are doing well he said.” “It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch [would] be accepted this fast.”
He also noted that all of Bandai’s properties could see versions made for the Switch.
What is more important however, was that Taguchi revealed Bandai Namco has 3 big exclusives coming in 2018 for the system. What could these exclusives be? We know there is a Tales game coming to Switch, so could that be one of them? We will keep you updated.
Let’s hope these EXCLUSIVES aren’t smaller budget affairs.
