Ironcast is a new game coming to the switch, and boy howdy is it a doozy of a game. Published by Ripstone and developed by Dreadbit, The story revolves around awar inn 1886 where a mystical power source, Voltite powers robots. These mechanoid beings are called Ironcast and it is up to the player to choose a leader and lead either Britain or France to victory. The Ironcast clearly have some steampunk ideas behind them but do to this power source they are able to work without steam.
After choosing their leader they are now ready to begin, fighting with robots. While it may just look like a simple puzzle game, it is anything but. Ironcast is a game that will test your mettle as you only have so many days before the invasion. You gain money which allows you to beef up your robots, and gain advantage in war. Never underestimate your opponents either as this puzzle game really offers serious strategy. The combination of both customizing your robot and the tactile nature of the puzzle game are sure to engage players.
Coming to both Steam and the Nintendo Switch, Ironcast is sure to be a game that people will enjoy playing. Plus who doesn’t like battling robots, in a historical setting? The game itself is fully playable with touch screen controls which is always a good thing for a Switch Game. Plus it is coming out this summer and at only 500 mb it won’t take up to much space.
