Ever wonder happened to that elusive title, Metal Gear: Rising? Well it seems a lot has happened in the brief few years since its announcement. In a recent interview, “The truth behind RISING” with Kojima Productions, a few details where given to bring us up to date. For starters, the game is now a joint operation. PLANTINUMGAMES and Kojima Productions are working together around the clock to bring us this gem.
In the interview the team originally working on the game stress their opinions on how no true design path had yet been made.They also talk about many of the changes that have been made since its induction. The game now takes place after the events of MGS4. As opposed to the original concept, which had it set between the events of MGS2 and MGS4. The gameplay also seems to have been revamped. Now offering that stealthy aspect that we’ve come to love from the series, while at the same time introducing the hack and slash action we have expected from this title.
