Some new screenshots have popped up from Square Enix’s sequel to Final Fantasy XIII-2. This time, they show us a bit of the Crystarium leveling system, some environments in game and during cut-scenes, as well as some great shots of the cast of the game. The game so far is shaping up to look good, a little bit of an improvement from the original Final Fantasy XIII.

What is also interesting is the pictures of the menu showing player’s ability to fuse monsters with different items. Bottom line, as always with most Square Enix games, the game looks beautiful. Now let’s reserve judgement on how the game will be overall until we get our chance to play it upon release. Square Enix releases Final Fantasy XIII-2 on January 31, 2012.
