Fans spent seven years making a Commodore 64 port of Super Mario Bros. with amazing results. Fans rushed to play it and it seems to have caught Nintendo’s eye.
Nintendo hit the developer and other hosting sites with takedown notices and the game’s download has now been scrubbed from most sites. Footage remains but you will have to get lucky to find a download of it.
