Nintendo 2DSNintendo sure had a healthy dose of news yesterday, while the reaction to all of it varies from person to person, here is what has been announced.

-The Nintendo 2DS: It’s basically a Nintendo 3DS without the 3D, it sports a bulkier look, but lacks the ability to close itself, this system will actually cost much less, bringing it down to $130 dollars, making it an affordable product for those who don’t mind that the 3D is gone, mind you, President of NoA has stated that this product is aimed at kids.

-Wii U price drop: The Wii U will go down in costs from its original $350 price (the 32 GB model), to $300, making it possible for many to afford the system now.

-Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle: The reduced price Wii U (32 GB model), but this will actually come with a code for a digital copy of Wind Waker HD. As of this moment, Game Stop is accepting pre-orders, and it will come at a cost of $299, and don’t tell anyone I told you this, but if you don’t own a Wii U, this is the bundle to go with if you like Zelda, not to mention the buyers will have an early access to the game, due to its release on September 20 (which is weeks ahead of the original October 4 release date).

To add to the good things, it will also include a digital copy of Hyrule Historia.Zelda Bundle

Dates for the newest games on Nintendo systems have also been announced.

Zelda Two Worlds

-The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds – Nov 22
-Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – Dec 6
-Super Mario 3D World – Nov 22
-Mario Party: Island Tour – Nov 1st

Seems like a good rest of the year for Nintendo fans.
