There has been a lot of worry lately do to some Nintendo Switch games in Canada being listed as 99.99, such as Super Mario Odyssey. This has been extremely worrying to many and this author in particular was concerned.
Last week, I spoke directly with a representative of the firm that handled NOC’s marketing, who cleared up the matter. As it is indicated on Best Buy, these are placeholder prices and not the final prices for the games. As such, there is no need to worry about prices being jacked up here.
The representative was not a spokesperson for Nintendo but was qualified to make that statement.
I hope this clears up some concerns.
