Ubisoft seems to be benefitting well from the Nintendo Switch. The published released their financial results for the first half of the fiscal year for 2017-2018., for the period ending September 30.

When it came down to the breakdown of sales by platform, there was something of note. For the half year period, Switch accounted for 12 percent of all software sales for Ubisoft. When just theQ2 was taken into account, the number was 19 percent.

Ubisoft noted that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was a major growth title for them, so that game no doubt played a role in these numbers. It should also be noted that the Wii U often only fluctuated between 1 and 3% of Ubisoft sales, showing just how much Nintendo has improved. For more perspective, Nintendo Switch sales accounted for the just about the same same amount as Xbox One sales.
