Nintendo will be launching a new Switch model in 2019.
The news was revealed by the WSJ in Japan
It was noted that discussions are still ongoing regarding what will be in the hardware of the new Switch and what the new software features will be. One possibility mentioned is an improved display, but don’t expect too many major changes just yet, as all current Switch software will be compatible.
It seems Nintendo is going for the route of upgraded models to avoid hackers.
