The news was announced at Nitro Super Sonico with an official website following the news. No release date has been set yet, and no other details of the anime have been released. Whether her two other bandmates, Fujimi Suzu and Watanuki Fuuri will be featured is open to speculation.
SoniAni – Super Sonico the Animation is the title of this brand new addition to Super Sonico’s credits. Since she has been the subject to countless ecchi drawings and figures, I am 99% sure the anime will feature gratuitous amounts of fan service. The show is likely to be a comedy I believe will center around her career as an idol. Whether this is true or not will have to wait until an official trailer.
