Some thoughts on something that can potentially become a very BIG problem. An interesting and controversial topic is starting to come to light with recent releases like Deus Ex Human Revolution. It involves two big websites and the people who use one of them to post videos of video games and play-throughs of them. That is both IGN and Yotube. The question at hand here is whether of not it is right or even possible for a website like IGN to flag videos on Youtube for Copyright Infringement on Youtube users and their own videos. This includes video footage of high profile games and “Let’s Plays” of those games. Check out the video below for the full run-down.
