Yacht Club Games has announced that their game Shovel Knight will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. No release date for the system just yet but there were other announcements were made.
All systems will be getting C0-op mode, and body swap mode is coming alongside Spectre of Torment. However,the biggest news is that the game will be undergoing a major overhaul. Yacht Club Games will make each of the campaigns (the game and the DLC modes) separate standalone games and able to be purchased without the main game. However, this does mean that they are raising the price of the game as it will now be a complete version, with this version will be renamed Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. There is no upgrade fee for previous owners and they are doing this method of release to help customers who only want the other campaigns.
