Square Enix has stated that they will be “aggressively pursuing Switch development”. The company noted they have several plans for the system, with Project Octopath Traveler and Dragon Quest XI Switch on-track for next fiscal year.

Square Enix then noted Switch’s momentum is strong and said that Nintendo doing great is good for Square-Enix. They feel that  Switch is ideal for middle-range games, which Square-Enix is good at making. They also noted that when considering games for Switch, they won’t rule out any IPs, and this includes new ones, currently active ones and not-active ones.

What do you hope to see from Square Enix on Switch?
