Yusuke Hashimoto of Platinum Games was one of the directors of Star Fox Zero for the Nintendo Wii U, which was released to mixed reception. Despite the reception the game had however, there were many who were interested in the design and visuals of the game. Some asked Hashimoto on twitter if the concept art would ever be released and he had this reply.
