On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 there’s going to be a grand wedding – Deadpool’s wedding! Issue #27 of the current run of Deadpool by writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn will be the one to watch out for! No one knows yet who the bride will be, but that won’t stop the speculation!
For this special occasion, Gerry Duggan will be coming to my home state of Maryland to celebrate. Third Eye Comics in Annapolis, Maryland will be hosting. There will be a wedding cake! From 11am to 1pm, Gerry Duggan will be signing copies of his works. For those guys and gals, guys and guys, gals and gals, that have been thinking of getting hitched, if one or both dress up as Deadpool, there will be an ordained minister attending to marry you. If you’re there early, you’ll even get a free wedding gift (if you’re one of the first 50)!
Third Eye Comics is my go to comic book store in the area with the friendliest of staff and an amazing collection. They have never disappointed me in the past, so I am nothing but excited for this crazy cool event.
UPDATE!!!!: Mike Hawthorne, the artist for the current Deadpool run, will also be in attendance.
