No GravatarCapcom and PlayStation have revealed a new trailer for Street Fighter 5, showing off the latest DLC character, the returning favorite Guile. Guile has a whole new look and seems to have a few new tricks. Check out the trailer below.

No GravatarIn something that took everyone by surprise, the company Ocean Media has been under internet fire lately. The main reason for the combined attack from many outlets is because of a VERY poor decision made by an employee Ocean Marketing, the company who was behind the creation of The Avenger game controller. In what seemed like probably the most ridiculous choice made by someone in the work environment, Paul Christoforo decided to verbally attack a customer of Ocean Marketing’s website.

Known now only as Dave, Dave wanted to inquire on the status of his order for 2 Playstation 3 controllers from their website, with hopes of it arriving before or on Christmas day. When he received a few lackluster responses from Paul, who at the time was responding to Dave’s emails to the company, Dave began to explain his displeasure of the treatment he was getting from Ocean Marketing’s service. To which Paul decided to aggressively respond back to Dave with less then stellar treatment from a company employee.

Having felt insulted and appalled at the response, Dave responded back expressing his anger, demanding he receive the product which he paid for WAY in advanced. Paul had then responded with another aggressive email, almost along the lines of bragging about people he, and/or the company, knew within the game industry, including dropping names like Kotaku, IGN, and PAX. Dave, after recieving the email response, sent over the email chain to Mike Krahulik, the man who runs PAX and the Penny Arcade website. It was at this point the whole situation got as low as it possibly could, to which Paul had continued to go back and forth with Mike on various topics, all leading to Mike posting the craziness on the Penny Arcade website.

After the post went live, Ocean Marketing started receiving huge backlash for the remainder of December 27th. Places like Twitter, Youtube, and even the Ocean Marketing website felt the power of many angry people from the internet. It had even gotten to a point to where not only were multiple Twitter accounts were made from the fallout, but at some point, it was made public that Paul Christoforo was let go from Ocean Marketing.

The whole situation is crazy in of itself. This is a prime example of what NOT TO DO to your customers in any field that you work in. Sometimes, a little common sense can go a very long way, and save you a very big internet flaming headache.

No GravatarI had a chance to sit down and chat it up with Comedian, Actor, and Voice-Actor Peter Kelamis recently. Peter is most notably recognized as the voice of Goku in the Ocean’s dub version of DRAGONBALL Z. However, Peter is also known for voicing a bunch of other characters in different shows such as Ed Edd and Eddy, Transformers Cybertron, and Class of Titans. We also had a chance to dive into his early career of stand-up comedy and movies/tv shows, including one of his most popular roles in Stargate Universe. Check out the entire interview below, its a total of three parts. There’s plenty of stuff here for everyone, all this and more on this segment of THE BITT.

No GravatarIt seems that a new policy going into affect January 1, 2012 will cause all gun-like Avatar items to be banned from Xbox Live. With news from EPIC Games, EPIC is claiming that Microsoft is banning and removing any and all gun-like Avatar props as part of their new mandate. This comes at a surprise, especially since most of the more popular Avatar items over Xbox Live are based on games that are based off of shooter games, like Gears of War, Halo, or Call of Duty. However, for those who already bought an Avatar “gun-like” item, you will still be able to keep it without any change. If you delete it for any reason though, don’t expect to ever see it again on the marketplace. So word of advice, start grabbing all the weapon-like Avatar items now before they are all gone within a few weeks. Who knows now, we might end up getting a whole sub-culture of cool kids who have Lancers and BRs, while the rest of us will have to settle for teddy bears and medkits.

No GravatarIt’s touchdown time for Sony in Japan, as the company has launched their new portable hardware the Vita to it’s Japanese market. Reports all over had come in stating that their were huge lines that stretched far and wide with people eager to get their hands on the new portable gaming system. Some gamers here in the states went as far as to import the console and be some of the first to experience Sony’s Playstation Vita. With a big lineup of launch titles, many a Japanese audience and early birds were quite pleased at what Sony delivered.

By now, most gaming websites are giving tons of praise to the Playstation Vita. The system itself, complete with a  5-inch OLED Multi-Touch Touchscreen, two analog thumb sticks, rear and front cameras, a back touchpad, six-axis motion control,  and WiFi ( and also a 3G model); was enough to impress early reviewers of the portable game console. Some issues have been brought up however, with some customers reporting issues with online support for those playing games online (more for people who imported the Vita) which end up freezing completely. There have also been some reports of some models not turning on even after having been completely charged to maximum power. There are minor issues, but still some issues worth noting.

There is still time however for Sony to work out all the kinks and problems that might be popping up with the launch of the first Vita models in Japan, before finally launching Vita here in North America. We’ll have to wait and see what other things Sony can bring to the table with the Playstation Vita. With all the support behind this new hardware, as well as a bunch of games at launch, it’s going to be a very interesting time next year when Vita is released stateside.

No GravatarThe newest addition into the Elder Scrolls franchise makes its way to our consoles in a blaze of magic, fire, and glory. Bethesda brings all of their talent and cleverness in game design into this fantasy epic for all platforms. Be it Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or PC your choice to experience the land of Skyrim; you will not be disappointed at the grand scale this fantasy world has to offer. Add to the mix a soundtrack that brings to life the feeling of older fantasy tales, and you have one of the better games of the year. Even with all that being said, there is truth to be found in all of this, and that truth will be EPIC.
