A story focused on a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The virus starting to spread within the confines of New York on Black Friday. And so with the Presidential Order 51, The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, Division agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society. When society falls, your mission begins.

As you cooperate to fight together against the emerging dangers of this ongoing crisis scenario. While the gameplay emphasizes cover-based action, RPG systems such as looting and crafting, skills and social features, plus a strong focus on weapon types and customization. Additionally, The Division has an amazing companion, your tablet or smartphone, allowing players to join friends in real-time gameplay with exclusive characters. The app gives you a bird’s eye view of the battlefield, the ability to aid your allies in combat by attacking enemies or identifying targets and raining destruction down on your enemies, all by a drone to aid them. One other thing, the AI and the virus aren’t the only thing players need to worry about. It’s the other players. Player vs. Player combat is a big part of The Division. The choices you make as a Division agent can either spur a recovery or plunge the city further into chaos. The people you meet in certain areas of the game can either be your best friends or your worst enemies. The Division is expected out in 2014 on the PS4 and the Xbox One.
