According to a report from PWInsider, officials from 2K games are present at WWE’s Royal Rumble event today to work on the WWE game.
According to the report, WWE Superstars are recording voiceovers for the game, and most of, if not the entire roster, is currently expected to be scanned for inclusion in the new game.
2K previously decided to not release WWE 2K21 and instead release WWE Battlegrounds due to the horrific state WWE 2K20 launched in, but there is no word if this new game in WWE 2K22 or a new game altogether. WWE 2K20 was such a disaster that #FixWWE2K20” was rending on social media, and Sony and Microsoft would eventually give refunds to customers.
There is no information yet on when the new game will launch.
