Arms was one of the big surprises of the Nintendo Switch reveal. The unique fighting game from Nintendo charmed many with its quirky and offbeat nature, and seemed to ooze personality. Many considered it the successor to Punch Out or Wii Boxing, especially due to the motion controls in the latter.
However, the recent Nintendo treehouse live stream revealed something rather interesting. Arms will not require motion controls, and the game can be played with regular controls like other game. This has raised my own interest in the game considerably, as I was uneasy about the motion controls. Arms looks like a terrific addition to the Nintendo library and I hope it succeeds.
