Nikkei Trendy conducted an interview with Koei Tecmo Chief Operating Officer and President Hisashi Koinuma, and some interesting comments were made about the Switch.
He noted, that thanks to the addition of “powerful hardware” like Switch, there is a brighter year ahead for Koei Tecmo, since 2017 was a bit of a tough fight for the company. He al;so noted that One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition had been selling out on Switch and while they havent sold as well as well the Bandai Namco games, Koei Tecmo’s Switch titles are selling well even after launch and have even seen repeat orders flowing in non-stop.
Hopefully this means more Koei Tecmo support going forward!
