The new Tetris 99 Maximus Cup goes live on July 3 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET, and will last until June 6 at 11:59 PM PT / June 7 at 2:59 AM ET.

To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition!
Tetris 99 features online competitive modes exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members. Owners of the digital version of the game can purchase the optional Big Block DLC, which adds several offline modes, like CPU Battle and Local Arena.A physical version of Tetris 99 is also available.
