Nintendo Will Still Release NES & SNES Games For Base Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers

When Nintendo announced the new Expansion Pack tier for Switch Online with N64 and SEGA Genesis games, many were concerned that this meant the end of NES and SNES games on the service. However, those concerns seem to have been unfounded, and Nintendo has commented on the situation.

Nintendo has now confirmed that there are still plans to release more NES and SNES games for Switch Online for those who do not buy the Expansion Pack tier, but there is no word on when those games will continue to come or what is planned at this time.
