Hamster has announced that that side-scrolling hack-and-slash title The Genji and the Heike Clans is coming to PS4 and Switch through the Arcade Archives line.
“The Genji and the Heike Clans” is an action game released by NAMCO in 1986.
Players control the hero Taira no Kagekiyo on a mission to the capital city of Kamakura, to defeat the Demon Genji Clan’s king Yoritomo.
The player will face attacks by Genji Clan soldiers like Yoshitsune and Benkei along the way to Kamakura.
Defeat all challengers and gather the Three Sacred Treasures to defeat Yoritomo.
The Genji and the Heike Clans releases on October 7, 2021
