During the PC Gaming Show, the team at Replicant D6 showed a new look at their game Agent 64: Spies Never Die.
The game is a tribute to classic 90’s console FPS games, specifically Goldeneye, with the team at Replicant D6 stating they are using “state-of-the-art 1997 enemy AI.”
The game sees players take control of John Walter, formerly known as Agent 64 and complete various story-based objectives, such as stealing plans, freeing hostages, and more that harkens back to that era.
There is currently a demo out on Steam now, and the game will launch in Early Access later this year.
The game is planned to have a map editor for gamers to be able to make and share their own campaigns, and presumably, this will factor into a multiplayer mode as well.
