It’s been a moment since I’ve read a contemporary romance novel. As many of you know, I typically dabble in romantic suspense. However, when I got my hands on Drawn to You by J. D. Hart, I felt right at home. It’s not only an incredibly sexy read, but it’s also quite adorable. I highly recommend it for romance readers.
After meeting Jace at a conference in Seattle, Sarah can’t quite get him out of her head. However, she assumes that a long-distance relationship just won’t fly. When he runs into Jace again, she finally gives in. Can they make things work in this new relationship? Even more importantly, can they keep it together when Jace’s past catches up to him?
I loved the main characters. Sarah is smart and funny (her roommate is a hoot and a half, by the way). Jace is about a sexy as they come, and I’m not saying that because he literally is a doppelganger of my husband. The two of them have some serious chemistry, and their scenes together are super sexy (*fans self*). Readers will have no problem enjoying the “action” in this one.
The book is a fast read that has just the right amount of romance and relationship drama. The story pacing was just right, and the dialogue was spectacular. Oh, and the ending threw me through a loop. I did not see that coming.
If you are looking for your next contemporary romance book, look no more. Drawn to You has everything you need and more. I cannot wait to see what else J. D. Hart writes. This is definitely an author that needs to be on your radar.
