EA and Respawn launched their free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends at the start of February. The dev team had stated they were interested in Switch, but there was nothing they could mention about at the time.
Drew McCoy has now addressed the Switch discussion once again and noted all of the requests about wanting to play the game on Nintendo’s console. That said, , no promises can be made and the team doesn’t have anything to announce at this time just yet.
McCoy’s full words:
“If Switch was coming, we would tell you, and we would blast it across the world. We are hearing all the Switch players who say they want the game. I can’t make any promises right now. We have a lot of things that we’re working on, so stay tuned for anything in the future. But currently we don’t have anything to announce.”
