Make-A-Wish International sent out the following

……………………….

This April, content creators and their fans from all over the world will come together on popular streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube to raise funds and grant wishes to children living with critical illnesses. This will be the second year for the event – THE WORLD STREAMS FOR THE WISHES – and Make-A-Wish International is anticipating an increase in funds raised and the event’s popularity among people who livestream for charities.
Make-A-Wish International created the charitable streaming event in response to the sharp increase in gaming related wishes coming from over 50 countries and the rising costs of granting those wishes. Technology wishes and wishes to travel to places like the world’s most popular theme parks are now two of the most common types of wishes hoped for by children undergoing medical treatment.
This year brings more positive news for the event and the children whose wishes will be granted as a result. Park Beyond, Bandai Namco Europe’s title slated for a 2023 release, will be the main partner of the charitable fundraiser. Park Beyond is a brand-new take on theme park management developed by German-based studio Limbic Entertainment. As a visionary architect, players will take on the fantastic task of building and managing every detail of their own amusement park with a twist.
In Park Beyond, players will soon discover the ‘Impossification’: where technology, money and gravity are not insurmountable obstacles – only the player’s creativity is the limit. Now, the idea of ‘Impossification’ will be helping to grant wishes to children around the world who are living with critical illnesses by supporting the upcoming global fundraiser.
“We pride ourselves on being innovative and offering this community of fundraisers the chance to support a global charity that makes an impact around the world and in their own communities. This will be the second year of our global event and Bandai Namco Europe’s support and investment in our mission will help grant these life-changing wishes and raise awareness in the streaming community that we are here and ready to partner with them as a charity of choice,” said Luciano Manzo, CEO of Make-A-Wish International.
“At Bandai Namco, we aim at delivering fun for all, so supporting Make-a-Wish International’s livestream fundraiser was only a matter of time,” said Arnaud Muller, CEO at Bandai Namco Europe, “With Park Beyond, we’ve found a perfect match – as both the Foundation and our game are all about making wishes come true! We strive to make seemingly impossible wishes possible in the future!”
