Bandai Namco has something cooking up for Mr. Driller, as the company has grabbed a new trademark for Mr. Driller: Drill Land in Europe. Mr. Driller: Drill Land was a GameCube game that released in Japan in 2002, but never got a western release. Also notable is that Bandai Namco previously gained a trademark for Mr. Driller Encore in Sept. 2019 for Japan.
The Encore Line seems to be Bandai Namco’s line of deluxe re releases, as Katamari Damacy Reroll was known as Katamari Damacy Encore in Japan. It is very likely that this is the title that will receive an HD remake on the Switch in some form.
