Nintendo has opened a Japanese site for Bayonetta 1+2 on Switch and has given a full breakdown on the amiibo functionality
Both Smash Bros. Bayonetta amiibo will unlock a special costume in the game for players to use. In addition several amiibo will unlock special costumes in the game based on the character
These include
Peach (Any Peach amiibo)
Daisy
Link (Any Link amiibo)
Toon Link
Fox
Falco (Same result as Fox)
Samus (any Samus including Zero Suit Samus)
However, that is not all as the following amiibo will unlock weapons in the game.
Bowser (Any series)
Bowser Jr.
Koopa
Boo
Goomba
This is great to hear. The amiibo will get a lot of use for certain, and this will make the game feel just a little more special.
